Geoffrey Michael Layton, 3rd Baron Layton (born July 18, 1947 ) is a British peer and politician .

life and career

Layton was born to Michael Layton, 2nd Baron Layton and Dorothy Layton.

He inherited his father's title on January 23, 1989. Layton, like his father, was a member of the European-Atlantic Group committee . He lost his seat in the House of Lords in 1999 through the House of Lords Act 1999 . During his ten-year membership he took part in debates several times.
