Geological Research Institute for Denmark and Greenland
Geological Research Institute for Denmark and Greenland ( GEUS ; Danish De Nationale Geologiske Undersøgelser for Danmark og Grønland ) is a research institute based in Copenhagen . It reports to the Danish Ministry of the Environment.
Goal setting
The activities of GEUS include the collection, compilation and storage of geoscientific data, research, monitoring and consulting in the areas of water, energy, minerals, climate and the environment. GEUS also undertakes contract work for other authorities, research agencies, private companies and customers outside Denmark.
