The 12th season of Geordie Shore takes place again in Newcastle upon Tyne . It was first broadcast on March 15th and is the season with the highest ratings to date. After Kyle left the series, Chantelle joins as the new resident at the beginning, and Marty at the end of the season. The anniversary season for the 5-year Big Birthday Battle then started .
