Drache & Co. (English: Potatoes and Dragons , French: Patates et Dragons ) is an animated series in German - French - Canadian production that was produced between 2004 and 2005.
action
The action takes place in the fairytale kingdom of potatoes . The king of potatoes, Hugo III, lives in a magnificent castle in the middle of a green hill. A green dragon lives in a dragon's cave and causes trouble for the king every day. In order to get rid of the dragon, he has appointed knights to drive the dragon away. In return he offers them the hand of his daughter, Princess Melodine. However, she has already fallen in love with the court jester Riri and is therefore not interested in the knights either. Instead she tries to protect the dragon with the little squire Juju, outsmart the king and drive away the knights. Sometimes the court magician Merlin helps them with that too .
Production and publication
The series was produced in German, Canadian and French and was produced between 2004 and 2005. The result is a season with 78 episodes or 26 episodes if an episode contains three by seven minutes of episodes. Directed led this Jean-Christophe Roger. Philippe Thirault, Jean-Marc Bouzigues and Jan Van Rijsselberge were responsible for the script . The music is by Ray Fabi and Jeffrey Lyle Fischer.
The German premiere took place on 27 September 2005 KI.KA instead. Later broadcasts also took place on Das Erste , SWR and rbb .
