The government Stauning V ( Danish . Regeringen Stauning V ) under Prime Minister Thorvald Stauning was from April 10 to July 8, 1940, the Danish government. It was the first Danish collection government and the first under German occupation , if one disregards the last day of the Stauning IV government .

The government was the 37th government since the March Revolution . All ministers from the previous government retained their office, plus six ministers without portfolio from the Venstre ,
