Justice Ministeriet
The Justitsministeriet is the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Denmark . It is based on Slotsholmsgade in the capital Copenhagen and has been headed by Nick Hækkerup ( Socialdemokraterne ) in the Frederiksen cabinet since June 27, 2019 . His area is located in the justice system in general, in family law , in criminal law , the civil law , in policy and in the regulation of Danish nationality. Furthermore, it has similar to the Federal Department of Justice and Police in Switzerland, the supervision of the Danish police , the domestic intelligence Politiets Efterretningstjeneste and Direktoratet for Kriminalforsorgen (Danish Penal ). The ministry was founded in 1848.
