Finansministeriet
The Finansministeriet is the Ministry of Finance of the Kingdom of Denmark . It is based on Slotsplads in the capital Copenhagen and has been headed by Nicolai Wammen ( Social Democrats ) in the Frederiksen cabinet since June 27, 2019 .
The Ministry of Finance was established on November 24, 1848. In 1968 the Ministry of Finance was split into the Finansministeriet and the Ministeriet for Statens Lønnings- og Pensionsvæsen . On October 11, the latter was converted into the Budgetministeriet and in 1973 transferred back to the Ministry of Finance.
