The National Liberal Government Hall II ( Danish . Regeringen Hall II ) under Konseilspräsident CC Hall was the Danish Government until 31 December 1863. Acting King was from February 24, 1860 Frederick VII. (Denmark) and after his death Christian IX.
The cabinet was the second of two under Hall and the tenth since the Danish March Revolution . In the run-up to the German-Danish War Hall did not abandon his Eider -Danish policy of confrontation against the German Confederation , King Christian tried to change his mind, but unsuccessfully. The king therefore made attempts to form a new government, but many politicians refused to take over the leadership of the cabinet due to the muddled foreign policy situation. It was not until December 31, 1863 that a transitional government was formed under the previous Minister of Education, Monrad , also an Eider-Dane.
