JC Christensen

The Christensen government ( Danish : regeringen Christensen ) was formed in Denmark on January 14, 1905 by Jens Christian Christensen from Venstre and replaced the Deuntzer government , which was also formed by Venstre . The Christensen government was in office until October 12, 1908, when it was replaced by the first Neergaard government.

In the elections for the Folketing on May 29, 1906, the Det Radikalische Venstre , led by Carl Theodor Zahle , appeared for the first time . As a result, the Venstre suffered significant losses, but remained by far the strongest party. In 1908 the right to vote for women in local elections was introduced, which was extended to include the Folketing elections in 1915.
