Højre

Højre (German: right / rights ) was the name of two Danish political parties on the right .

The first party with this name existed from 1848 to 1866.

The second party developed around the politician JBS Estrup , a contested head of cabinet from 1875 to 1894. In 1881, Højres Workers 'and Voters' Association was founded in Copenhagen . In 1882 the Højre faction called for a nationwide association in the Reichstag. Højre went in 1915 in the Conservative People's Party ( Det Conservative Folkeparti ).

The large bourgeois-conservative party in Norway bears the name Høyre to this day .
