Nye Borgerlige ( Danish for New Bourgeois ; party letter D) is a Danish party.

Nye Borgerlige was initiated on November 24, 2015 by former members of the Conservative People's Party , Pernille Vermund and Peter Seier Christensen. On October 6, 2016, the party was officially admitted to the next parliamentary election.

Content

In the run-up to the parliamentary elections expected in 2019, the party recently tightened its rhetoric. Members of the far-right Danish Defense League are also open to party membership.

In addition to a fundamentally economically liberal agenda, the party focused on “three indispensable demands” ( tre ufravigelige krav ):

In terms of foreign policy, Nye Borgerlige are calling for the exit from the “bureaucracy monster” of the European Union following a referendum and the termination of the UN Refugee Convention and the UN Final Act against Statelessness .

In the 2017 local elections, the party ran in 61 out of 98 Danish municipalities, but achieved only 0.9 percent nationwide and a single seat in Hillerød .

In the 2019 Folketing Elections , Nye Borgerlige were able to move into parliament with a good 83,000 votes or 2.4 percent and have four members there.
