The third season of Geordie Shore was first filmed in Cancun, Mexico. It first aired on June 26, 2012 on MTV . The cast is the same as in season 2. At the end of the season, Jay announces that she is leaving the series, as is Rebecca. Vicky and Ricci crown their relationship with their engagement. Holly also deepens her feelings for James when he broke his leg. Charlotte and Gary still can't resist. Season 4 followed in winter 2012 .
