Season 7 of Geordie Shore is back to Newcastle upon Tyne . It was first broadcast on September 17, 2017. While Marnie, Sophie's cousin, joins the cast, she leaves the series due to racist allegations, but returns to the five-year anniversary season (between Staafel 12 and 13). As in season 6, Jay returns this time for two episodes to settle the dispute between the residents. Marnie ensures that Gaz and Scott's friendship is on the brink. In addition, the residents work through a list with a request from each resident. Season 8 began broadcasting in the summer of 2014 .
