George Manning Furby House is a residential building of the mid 19th century in Port Hope , near the mouth of the Ganaraska River , the Canadian province of Ontario , which was built by its namesake George Manning Furby and today at the address 61, Bramley Street N., Port Hope, Ontario, L1A, Canada .

The house was declared a Cultural Monument of the City of Fort Hope in the Province of Ontario, Canada on April 21, 1986. The house is surrounded by a large park-like property, which is bordered with large trees and hedges. As a result, the house is not directly visible from the street.

On the building you can easily see the further development through the different design options at the time it was built. Both the exterior and the interior design reflect different decades from the middle to the end of the 19th century. In the outer area of the two and a half storey house, the cladding with wood, the roof shingles and the specially shaped windows are responsible for the shape reminiscent of the Gothic.

In the interior design, the 3 different mantelpieces in particular have been preserved. One mantelpiece is influenced by the East Lake style and another is influenced by the Greek Revival style . The door frame, the archway and the staircase from the middle of the Victorian era have been preserved in their original form. The roof shape gives the house an Italian feel.
