Georges Bach (born June 12, 1955 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg politician . Bach has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .

Life

After his school days and the technical Abitur in 1973, Bach worked as an employee in the steel industry and from 1974 to 2009 at the state railway company Chemins de Fer Luxembourgeois (CFL). He was also general secretary from 1998 to 2002 and chairman from 2002 to 2009 of the Christian Railway Union in Luxembourg.

Bach has been a member of the European Parliament for the Christian Social People's Party (CSV) since 2009 . All of his requests to speak in the EU Parliament are available online in the archive.

Georges Bach is a member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism and a delegation to the EU-Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee . He is a deputy in the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and in the delegation in the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee .
