The Coburg State Old Shepherd's Equipment Museum is located in the ensemble of buildings of a baroque sheep farm from 1713, which belongs to Ahorn Castle, just under a kilometer away .

In permanent and special exhibitions, equipment from the rural and craft sector, painted furniture and other testimonies to the folklore of the former Duchy of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha are shown.
