Gerald Patzelt

Gerald Patzelt (* 1931 ) is a German geologist.

Life

Patzelt received his doctorate in geology from the University of Leipzig in 1968 (contributions to the geology of n-Epirus (SW Albania)). He was in the VEB Geological Exploration West in Jena and then in Halle.

Patzelt deals with the regional geology of Thuringia and wrote a geological guide for the eastern Harz foreland.
