Mario Goloboff (born March 16, 1939 in Carlos Casares , Argentina ) is an Argentine writer .

Life

Gerardo Mario Goloboff was born in the province of Buenos Aires, in the small town of Carlos Casares. After studying law at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, he soon began to work in literature. In 1973 he emigrated to Toulouse , where he taught Argentine language and civilization at the Université Toulouse-Le-Mirail. He also taught at various other universities in France . After the end of the military dictatorship, Goloboff was able to take on teaching positions in Argentina again; In 1999 he finally returned to his native country. Since 2013 he has been the director of the Centro Cultural Ricardo Rojas.
