Gerd Möller (teacher)

Gerd Möller (born April 28, 1938 in Lüdenscheid ) is a retired German headmaster and author.

Life

After graduating from the Zeppelin-Gymnasium in Lüdenscheid, Gerd Möller joined the armed forces in 1959 and then studied film and television studies in Munich. After a year he returned to his hometown, where he completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in his parents' paint factory. He then began studying political science in Innsbruck, which he completed with a doctorate . He returned to Lüdenscheid and the family business again, this time as sales manager. After two years he moved to Dortmund, where he was director of the private business school in Pipke from 1974 and director of studies at a vocational college in the 1990s.

In his first book, Memories of a Mother of Five Sons , he published the lost diary entries of his mother, originally written on loose sheets of paper, from memory. A good two years later, in 2014, followed his autobiography Life is a Petting Zoo .

As one of two violin soloists, Gerd Möller performed with the Lüdenscheider Youth Orchestra at Expo 58 , the world exhibition in Brussels. He is a co-founder of the German Language Association .
