Gerhard Brand

Gerhard Brand is a former German basketball player . He played for Bamberg in the Bundesliga and was a German national player.

career

In 1969, Brand moved to 1. FC Bamberg , in 1970 he was promoted to the basketball league with the team and was second-best scorer in the Bamberg team in the first division premier season 1970/71 with 301 points.

In the following years the inside player was one of Bamberg's top performers and played for the team in Germany's highest league until 1979.

National team

Between 1971 and 1973 he played twelve international matches for the Federal Republic of Germany and was a member of the German team at the home European championships in September 1971.
