Gerhard Flekatsch (born May 5, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian visual artist. He lives and works in his hometown.

Life

Gerhard Flekatsch is an artist from Vienna. In addition to his previous occupation in aeromedical management, he can also look back on many years of positive experience as a cultural journalist, cultural manager (director “Middle East - Middle West”) and photographer. In 2006 Flekatsch continued his formative youth, when he was introduced to painting and drawing in his grandfather Richard Mahler's studio. Since then he has devoted himself entirely to the fine arts. His artistic activity revolves around human imagination, perception and the arbitrariness of borders.
