Gerhard Stoye

Gerhard Stoye (* 1911 ; † 1993 ) was a German social pedagogue and painter.

In his main job as a social worker , he came to Hamburg as the manager of the Pestalozzi Children's and Youth Village. He later stayed in the Hanseatic city as a freelance painter. His works are predominantly watercolors and miniatures in watercolor. Many pictures were taken in Roussillon (southern France) or in Jersbek (Schleswig-Holstein).
