German History (Ger Hist) is a quarterly scientific journal that has been published since 1984 . It is published on behalf of the German History Society by Neil Gregor (University of Southampton) and Bridget Heal (University of St Andrews) at Oxford University Press in Oxford. Articles, book reviews, news and conference reports on the history of Germany and other German-speaking countries appear. The journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics and has an Impact Factor of 0.357 (2014). Founding editor of the magazine was the British historian Mary Fulbrook . The German historian Karin Friedrich was co-editor from 2001 to 2006 .
