Gert Wiesenegger (born November 23, 1970 in Dornbirn ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and managing director. From 2009 to 2014 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Wiesenegger attended elementary and secondary school in Klaus and then completed the polytechnic course. He then began an apprenticeship as a plastics technician at Scheyer Verpackungstechnik and also completed several stays abroad. Wiesenegger is currently the managing director of Scheyer Verpackungstechnik.

Wiesenegger has been politically active in the ÖVP since 2000. He has been a local councilor in Klaus since 2000 and was elected vice mayor in 2005. On November 4, 2009, Gert Wiesenegger was sworn in as a candidate for the ÖVP in the Vorarlberg state parliament. After the 2014 state election , he left the state parliament on October 15, 2014.

Wiesenegger is married and lives in Klaus.
