The protected landscape component Allee Herbeck with an area of 0.4  ha was in the area of the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen. When the revision of the landscape plan of the city of Hagen came into force in 2008, the LB was no longer available.

description

Description in the landscape plan: "It is an avenue consisting of 115 maple trees with a trunk circumference of 150 cm - 250 cm, approx. 20 m high and approx. 20 m crown diameter on the west side of the Herbecker Weg."

80 avenue trees had to be felled in February 2012 for traffic safety reasons. Thanks to a donation from the Van Eupen Foundation, a replacement planting of 51 English oaks could then take place.

Protection purpose

According to the landscape plan, the designation was made “to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining a habitat for small mammals, cave-breeding bird species and dead wood-dwelling insects”.
