Description according to the landscape plan: “The protected part of the landscape is located in the Boelerheide district between Hügelstrasse and Birkenstrasse . It is a brook with partly natural, species-rich bank trees and herb fringes. The protected area also includes a meadow with spring areas and parts of the adjacent public and private green areas. "

Protection purpose

According to the landscape plan, the designation was made “to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining a partially natural stream course as a habitat, especially for the characteristic animal and plant species of the rivers and source zones”.
