The protected landscape component Rumscheider Bach with an area of ​​1.82  ha is located in the area of ​​the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The LB was designated in 1994 with the landscape plan of the city of Hagen by the city council of Hagen.

Description in the landscape plan: "It is a section of the valley floodplain of the Rumscheider Bach east of Dahl with the course of the brook, fallow meadows and fragments of alluvial forest."

Protection purpose

According to the landscape plan, the designation was made "to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance by maintaining a habitat for the communities of the streams, swamp zones, nutrient-poor wet meadows and pastures as well as the alluvial forests and to structure and revitalize the landscape by preserving the landscape diversity with natural landscape elements."
