Tea towel

The dish towel or kitchen towel is part of table linen , it is as a handheld, plates, glasses, knife and wipe the household or by the service staff in hotels and restaurants used. Unlike the towel , it is made of a much thinner cotton or linen fabric and is used to dry off freshly washed dishes and cutlery.

A glass polishing cloth is used for lint-free polishing of glasses . These two kitchen gadgets should be hard-wearing, absorbent, long-lasting, boil-proof, lint-free fabrics, mostly made of linen or half-linen (warp thread made of cotton, weft thread made of linen) are preferred. Common sizes for tea towels are 50 cm × 70 cm to 50 cm × 90 cm, and for glass polishing cloth 50 cm × 60 cm to 50 cm × 80 cm. A service towel, on the other hand, means a hand napkin .
