Table linen
Table linen (English: table linen ) is a collective term for tablecloths and napkins made of fabric that are generally used at meals or by the service staff. Table linen gives a table tailored to the occasion a neat look, the range includes:
- Table pads / table protection (made of molton)
- Tablecloths / tablecloths (are much longer than tablecloths)
- Mouth napkins
- Cover napkins, also called middle covers or deckers
- Table runners, table straps, table scarves
- Placemats / placemat
- Buffet towels and aprons (so-called skirtings )
- Covers for tables and chairs
- Table linen ( service staff ):
- Dishcloth / kitchen towel
- Glass polishing cloth
- Hand napkin (service towel).
