Skirting

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A Skirting (. From English to skirt ; German: edge), even the buffet Apron called, refers to a particular type of table linen , around the sides to cover a table. In the event industry, skirtings are made from molton fabrics and serve as privacy screens, decorations or as cladding for lecterns. In order to create a skirting, the fabric is laid in folds, so-called pleats or crimps . After assembly, the fabric is placed around the front edge of the table like a skirt and fastened.

Buffet towels are towels that lie on the buffet table and are optimally matched to one another in terms of material and packaging, mostly made of the same material as the buffet aprons. Kettpads or -bands, special clips, clamp holders and clamps are used for fastening. By using buffet aprons, older tables can also be used as the table legs are not visible. Additional storage space is created under the buffet tables, which can be used for replacement items.
