There are currently 11 volumes: a monograph and ten interdisciplinary anthologies that were conceived as conference volumes. Tape editors are i. d. Usually the organizers of the respective conference. The articles are checked by the series and volume editors as well as the scientific advisory board (peer review process). Zeitschrift für Australienstudien (ZfA) / Australian Studies Journal

The peer- reviewed journal for Australian studies ( ISSN  1617-9900 ) sees itself as a scientific journal and publishes a. a. Articles, reviews, and essays. The company's e-newsletter has been published every 6 months since 2009. The editor is Henriette von Holleuffer. The online publication is a multimedia information and discussion forum that provides up-to-date knowledge about Australia.

Sponsorship awards

Every two years the Society for Australian Studies awards two prizes for outstanding scientific studies on the subject of Australia from German-speaking countries. One sponsorship award is given for an excellent dissertation, the second for an excellent final thesis (diploma, master’s). The theses can also have been created at universities outside Germany, Switzerland or Austria, provided that the author is domiciled in one of the three countries or has the relevant citizenship. The dissertations, diploma or master's theses should not be older than three years. The award winners will be determined in a separate call for proposals. Incoming work is assessed by the Society's Scientific Advisory Board and proposed to the Board of Directors for the award of the prize.
