The German law on court costs in family matters , abbreviated FamGKG , regulates the determination of costs in family law proceedings. Together with the law on the procedure in family matters and in matters of voluntary jurisdiction (FamFG) it came into force on September 1, 2009. It replaced the legal cost regulations in the Court Fees Act (GKG) and in the cost regulations (KostO).
