Seth is an "energy personality core", as he calls himself: "He is no longer centered in the physical form." On December 8, 1963, during an experiment on the Ouija board that Jane carried out with her husband Robert, it was given According to his own statements, first contact with Seth. From that time on, Robert, who was named after his testimony by Seth Joseph , recorded the dictated texts verbatim twice a week until the death of his wife in the so-called Seth sessions . Ruburt , as Seth allegedly called Jane, was in a trance during these transmissions . According to his own statements, witnesses were temporarily present during Seth's dictation transmissions.

Structure and content

Conversations with Seth contains the minutes of the meeting 511-596, which were dictated by Seth from January 21, 1970 to September 27, 1971. Like all other Seth books, this book is structured in such a way that the reader can clearly distinguish between dictated text content and personal comments. To make the book content easier to understand for every reader, "it was dictated in the manner of a narrative" .

First part : "This first part deals specifically with our inner and outer immediate environment." Here Seth / Roberts describes how our world is structured and functions:

“The belief in the dependence of our existence on the physical body harbors the fear of annihilation. I am writing this book to reassure you that things are different. "

Second part : "The second part deals with the greater reality of the soul and its perception."

“As you read this book, the words are designed to awaken your intuitive faculties. As you read it, your own dreams will give you additional information ... "
"So I want to introduce you to yourselves."
