The beverage world GmbH is a German beverage trading company. It operates 60 specialist beverage stores in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. This makes the company one of the largest private beverage retailers in Eastern Germany.
The beverage world is part of the Pfeifer group of companies based in Chemnitz / Grüna.
history
In 1995, the first branch of the beverage retail brand "Getränkeewelt" was opened in Chemnitz . Two more stores were opened in the same year. Through acquisitions and openings, the branch network grew to 60 stores in three federal states. Since 2013, the concept of the beverage world has been revised in terms of store design, range selection and service. In 2014, the takeover of the online shop wein-gcp.de opened up a further sales channel.
