Trade union education center Switzerland

The Swiss Trade Union Education Center (SABZ) is the education department of the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions .

The SABZ was founded in 1912 as the Swiss Workers' Education Committee . In 1923 the department of the Swiss Workers' Education Center was renamed. Her tasks include organizing education and training courses and conducting basic and advanced training courses, which are mainly used by members and officials of the member unions of the Swiss Confederation of Trade Unions. The organization also does cultural work and oversees development projects in Central and Eastern Europe.
