Bridge of Gairn is a settlement in the Scottish council area of Aberdeenshire . It is located in the Deeside region about two kilometers northwest of Ballater and 55 km north of Dundee on the north bank of the Dee .

Bridge of Gairn lies at the end of the Glen Gairn valley , through which the River Gairn flows for 32 km. At Bridge of Gairn it flows into the Dee. The A93 runs through the Bridge of Gairn and connects the village to the trunk road network. A few hundred meters to the west, the A939 branches off from the A93 towards north and leads via Grantown-on-Spey to Nairn . It crosses the A95 at Grantown-on-Spey and provides a connection to the Speyside in Moray .
