Ghada Chreim Ata ( Arabic غادة شريم, DMG Ġāda Šuraym ) is a Lebanese university professor . From January to August 2020 she was Minister for Displaced Persons in the Diab cabinet .

Live and act

Chreim Shreim obtained a doctorate in French literature and was a lecturer in French literature at the Lebanese University of Beirut. She headed the Lettres et des Sciences humaines department (Section IV). She was also the supervisor of Fairuz-Dar as-sayyad magazine. In addition, Chreim campaigns for the participation of women in political life, for human rights and for social justice. She runs a blog about women in politics. She is Greek Catholic and is close to the head of state Aoun and the Free Patriotic Movement .

On January 21, 2020, as the representative of the Greek Catholic community and at the suggestion of President Michel Aoun and the Free Patriotic Movement, she was appointed Minister for Displaced Persons in Hassan Diab's cabinet.

After Hassan Diab resigned as Prime Minister on August 10, 2020, the Minister remained in office until a new cabinet was formed.
