The Bezirksamt Beuggen , also: Amt Beuggen , was a short-lived state administrative district in the Grand Duchy of Baden , which existed from 1807 to 1810 and whose communities today all belong to the district of Lörrach .

history

The cameraman rule Rheinfelden , reduced to the landscape of the Rhine Valley, had its administrative seat from 1801 to 1807 in Nollingen. The areas on the right bank of the Rhine came to the Grand Duchy of Baden through the Peace of Pressburg in 1806 . In 1807, the Rhine Valley landscape, together with the localities of the Teutonic Order Beuggen, was assigned to the newly created Baden District Office Beuggen, which was dissolved in 1810. The communities were assigned to the district offices of Lörrach , Schopfheim , and Säckingen .

The Oberamtsrat Stork, who was formerly in the service of the German Order Coming Beuggen and had initially also headed the "Breisgauische KammeralAmt des Rheinthals in Nollingen", was appointed as bailiff.

With an ordinance of November 25, 1937, the law on the redistribution of internal administration of June 30, 1936 , came into full force on April 1, 1938 for the previous administrative district of Schopfheim . H. the administrative district has now been definitively dissolved and the municipalities assigned to the district offices of Neustadt, Waldshut, Säckingen and Lörrach. Of the four communities of the former Beuggen district office that belonged to the Schopfheim district office in 1938, two each came to the Lörrach and Säckingen district offices.

With the dissolution of the district of Säckingen in 1973, all communities of the former district office of Beuggen, which at that time belonged to the district of Säckingen, came to the district of Lörrach, d. H. since 1973 all communities of the former Beuggen district office have been part of the Lörrach district.
