The Ghana Democratic Republican Party is a political party in Ghana . The party headquarters are in Accra , and the party's chairman was Dr. Kofi Amoah in the founding year 1992, General Secretary of the GDRP was then Nii Odartey-Lawson.

With the fourth and current constitution of Ghana in 1992, following the military junta under Jerry Rawlings , political parties were again permitted in Ghana. Among these was the GDRP in 1992.
