The Giant Stones of Hamnavoe are a pair of stones (the rest of a row of stones ) east of Hamnavoe in the northwest of the Shetland island of Mainland in Scotland . A third stone has disappeared since the 18th century.
The Giant Stones ( German giant stones ) are about seven meters apart, north of the B9078 on an east-west axis. The menhirs ( English standing stones ) are 2.4 m and 1.8 m high.
