Yigu ( 以 古镇 , Yǐgǔ zhèn ) is a large community in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of the circle Zhenxiong , which in turn prefecture-level city Zhaotong province Yunnan is assumed. Yigu Municipality administers an area of ​​168 square kilometers.

The population census of 2000 had a total population of that community arise Yigu (以古乡) of 14,279 people in 3,611 households, of which 7,770 men and 6,509 women.

Yigu lives mainly from agriculture. Food is grown on 5150 hectares and 17,318 tons of food were harvested in 2015. Tobacco is grown on 100 hectares , of which 143 tons were harvested. At the end of 2015, 6,871 cattle, 34,144 pigs, 7,217 goats and sheep and 79,505 poultry were kept.

The community is connected to the road network, there is electricity and running water. About 90% of the residents have radio and television reception.

Administrative structure

At the village level, the large community consists of eight villages . These are Yigu (以 古村), Bidaojiao (比 道 角 村), Laoguanfang (老官 房 村), Yandongjiao (岩洞 脚 村), Heitang (黑 塘村), Anerdong (安尔 洞 村), Xiaomiduo (小米 多 村) and Maiche (麦 车 村).

The above villages manage 126 working groups.
