Gikyode (people)

The Gikyode are a people in Ghana , also called Kyode , Chode and Akyode .

The Gikyode live in the central east of the country on the border with Togo . The Gikyode belong to the North Guang ethnic groups. There is also some similarity with the Ginyanga from Togo.

They speak Gikyode as their mother tongue . The population of the Gikyode is given between 10,400 and 11,000.
