Construction
The EC1 is slightly smaller than most mopeds. Because it is part of the Piaggio Group, many parts can be used by other mopeds / scooters. For example, the EC1 uses the same drive technology and motor as the Ciao .
A weather protection cover, which is a combination of leg shield and windshield, can be attached to the front. The standard equipment includes a lockable luggage hook, key lock, luggage rack and a city basket.
Maintenance costs
For insurance purposes, the EC1 is classified as a moped. The insurance costs are therefore around € 50, or € 25 for models over 30 years old, for liability.
Due to the 2-stroke engine, the EC1 consumes approx. 2 liters of mixture per 100 km.
