Gintaras Striaukas

Gintaras Striaukas (* in the 20th century in Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian manager and former politician, Minister of Transport .

Life

In 1983 Gintaras Striaukas graduated from the Faculty of Urban Planning of the Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas with a degree (in rural road construction) . In 1991, Striaukas became the director of the Highways Directorate on the appointment of Transport Minister Jonas Biržiškis . From November 9, 2000 to February 24, 2001 he was Lithuanian Minister of Transport in the Paksas II cabinet (delegated by Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga ). Striaukas appointed J.Biržiškis as the later Minister of Transport as General Director of “ Lietuvos ležinkeliai ”. Striaukas' successor as minister was Dailis Alfonsas Barakauskas .

After that he was a manager and entrepreneur, one of the shareholders of the Lithuanian highway construction company UAB “ Žemaitijos keliai”.
