Giorgi Avakyan is a Georgian archery biathlete .
Giorgi Avakyan started in 2007 at the archery biathlon world championships that were held in Moscow for the last time . In the sprint he finished 19th with seven mistakes and did not finish the pursuit. In the mass start race he was 19th with nine errors. He was the first Georgian biathlete to take part in an international championship in this sport.
