Giuseppe Barzilai
Giuseppe Barzilai (born January 14, 1824 in Gradiska , Austrian Empire ; died April 13, 1902 in Trieste , Austria-Hungary ) was an Italian-Jewish lawyer and Semitist .
Life
Barzilai studied law in Casalmaggiore and at the University of Padua and worked as a lawyer in Trieste.
He did research as a Hebraist and archaeologist and published several writings. Barzilai was secretary of the Jewish community in Trieste.
