Giuseppe Catizone (born September 20, 1977 in Waiblingen ) is a German - Italian soccer player .
Career
He started playing soccer at SV Fellbach before moving to the junior team at VfB Stuttgart . He later played in the club's amateur team before moving up to the Bundesliga squad in 1999. Catizone played five Bundesliga games with VfB.
In 2001, the right midfielder moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken in the second division, a year later to the regional league team Stuttgarter Kickers . He belonged to the Kickers until the end of the 2004/05 season. After Giuseppe Catizone was temporarily without a club, he first played at SG Sonnenhof Großaspach . Since January 2007 he has been a member of 1. FC Normannia Gmünd . On March 15, 2017, the club announced that Catizone's expiring contract would not be extended after the end of the 2016/17 season. He returned to his home club SV Fellbach at the end of the season .
