Give Me Beauty ... Or Give Me Death! is the first studio album by the Swedish post-rock band ef . It was released on CD on May 17, 2006 by the Swedish record label "And The Sound Records" with the catalog number ATSR001 and contains seven tracks. On July 5, 2006, the Japanese record label "Thomason Sounds" released the album in Asia with the catalog number TSIP-2015. The Japanese CD contains an additional bonus title and was released as a jewel case , while the Swedish CD was released in a digipak .
All tracks were recorded in “Studio 1” in Växjö , except for track one, which was recorded in Kristian Anttila's home studio. Additional recordings were made in the "Studio Bishop Yard" in Gothenburg, Sweden . The artwork for the CD was created by Niklas Åström. The photos were taken by O. Isaac White.
