Glambeck (Neustrelitz)

Glambeck is the field name of a forest and heathland area and a desert village in the urban forest in the north of the city of Neustrelitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Once a forestry and sand mine (today ponds), the area served as a training area during the GDR era for the Soviet army barracked in Neustrelitz-Tannenhof , adjacent to the most important military training area Granzin-Adamsdorf (today part of the Müritz National Park ).
