Glass powder and crumbs in different grain sizes and degrees of fineness in a glass factory

Crumbs are small pieces of glass. They are created by crushing colored glass. They are available in different grain sizes . In glass blowing they are used to give a glass end product special color effects. To do this, the liquid glass mass is rolled in glass beads. This allows special artistic effects to be achieved with fused glass.

When the colored glass is ground, one speaks of glass powder, which is produced in various degrees of fineness. It can be used to color liquid glass or create color gradients. Very fine glass powder is also used as a pigment for mixing paints .

Crumbs and flours are available in transparent or opaque colors.
